On Monday, the Duquesne women’s basketball program earned a commitment from 2024 6-foot-1 prospect Faith Walker.

Dan Burt and company earned the commitment more than one month after Walker took a visit to Duquesne back on Aug. 24.  Prior to her commitment to the Dukes, she held offers from the following programs: Cornell, Bryant, Saint Joseph’s, Morgan State, NJIT, Charleston, William & Mary, Holy Cross, Fairleigh Dickinson, Iona, Fordham, Central Michigan, and Cal State Bakersfield.

Walker plays her high-school ball for West York HS in York, Pennsylvania, and played on the AAU circuit for the Western PA Bruins.

Duquesne finished last season with a 19-12 record (8-8 Atlantic 10). The Dukes return second-team All-A10 guard Megan McConnell this season, and brought in a talented transfer class to join McConnell and co.
