On Friday, another class-of-2025 guard will take an unofficial visit to Pitt.

According to 247’s Colby Giacubeno, 2025 prospect Akbar Waheed III (MD) will be on campus, one week after fellow DMV native Derek Dixon visited Pitt.

Waheed stands at 6-foot-6 and is a three-star, top-140 prospect, per On3. He currently holds offers from Maryland, Xavier, Penn State, Hofstra, Mount St. Mary, Boston College, Howard, and Albany, and has been hearing from the Pitt staff since June 15, the first day that the staff was allowed to contact him. Waheed plays his high school ball for Georgetown Prep, and plays for Team Durant on the Nike circuit during the summer.

He is the son of former Georgetown assistant coach Akbar Waheed II, who was recently on Patrick Ewing’s Hoyas staff.

Another award winning, original putdown by you. Way to go after a typo. Triggered, that would be you considering you comment on every pitt basketball article with negativity and vitriol. Heck, you even mention basketball on a football article. So, Capel and all his felons, clearly teigger you & live in your head.

🥱

Good retort. You really showed me.

I know at least one place Capel will be at this weekend, in your head.

I will enjoy every second of my weekend while I hike, golf and have fun with my family. I know your misery will know no bounds as Capel wades through the abyss of despair that is your brain.

Enjoy….🥱

Simple question: Who engaged who? Ergo, who is in whose head? I make a statement and invariably the pathetic little fanboys start with the ad hominem attacks defending an overpaid mediocre coach who wouldn’t cross the street to piss on them if they were on fire.

He’s probably do more than you in that situation. Just because someone engages with you doesn’t mean you live in their head. It means they are engaging with you and that’s it. It doesn’t grant you special status or anything like that. And these aren’t ad hominem attacks when it’s a direct reflection of your overall attitude. Here’s a couple questions…you mentioned if someone doesn’t like your comment to ignore it and just scroll by. Why don’t you heed your own advice amd scroll right by these articles? Or is your award winning commentary of “yawn” or “14-18” needed on… Read more »

Mr. Roth, you have a new fan. He usually likes to get in the last word, but you silenced him.
