AD99 Solutions, the foundation founded by former Pitt and Penn Hills great Aaron Donald, is hosting a weekly virtual education series for students ages 13-18.
The free seminars, called Mental Flex Forum, will be led by leaders from sports, business, government, the arts and philanthropy.
“Education and empowerment are at the core of our Foundation’s mission,’ AD99 Solutions executive director Akita Donald said in a press release. “Due to COVID-19, many Pittsburgh-area students — especially those from disadvantaged communities — have limited academic outlets. The Foundation wanted to use its resources to provide students with a learning experience they won’t find anywhere else.”
Aaron Donald himself will host the first installment. His presentation will help attendees mirror Donald’s vision for success on and off the field.
Each session of the eight-week series will be limited to 30 students on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for each installment will be announced via the foundation’s social media accounts.
