Could Pitt be adding a ninth four-star recruit and another four-star wide receiver to their Class of 2020?
247 Sports writer Tom Loy believes so, and in his latest recruiting forecasting, Loy has the Panthers landing four-star wide receiver Bryan Robinson from West Palm Beach, Florida. Robinson (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) is an elite talent with a long list of offers from major programs such as Alabama, Florida State, Nebraska, Miami, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Penn State and Tennessee. The word is that Pitt is battling both Alabama and Florida State for his services.
The lead recruiters on Robinson for Pitt are both Chris Beatty and Charlie Partridge. Both were in that area. As far as official visits, Robinson made his official visit to Pitt back in June and will be heading to Alabama this weekend. Florida State just announced the hiring of new head coach Mike Norvell on Sunday.
Pitt currently has commitments from four-star wide receivers Jaylon Barden, Jordan Addison and Aydin Henningham and Pittsburgh Sports Now has been told that Pitt plans on starting out 3-star New Jersey athlete Solomon DeShields at wide receiver.
The 2019 season showed that the Panthers need more playmakers on offense and the talent Pitt is bringing in for this Class of 2020 looks to be accomplishing that goal.
Dayon Hayes is currently Pitt’s lone 4 star recruit for 2020.
No he isn’t. They have a ton of them Jaylon Barden, Aydin Henningham, Jordan Addison, Branson Taylor, Jahvante Royal and Bangally Kamara.
According to Rivals, Pitt has one. Do you know something Rivals doesn’t?
My apologies. It appears Royal and Parrish have been upgraded. That makes THREE (and they will likely lose Parrish).
247 Sports is the other major recruiting website and has plenty of others. Rivals isn’t the only recruiting service.
That’s not even remotely accurate.
Current Pitt receivers evidently should hit transfer portal and open up some scholarships
