McKeesport’s Khaleke Hudson, New Castle’s Geno Stone Invited to NFL Combine

McKeesport’s Khaleke Hudson and New Castle’s Geno Stone are two of three WPIAL players that have been invited to the 2020 NFL Combine, the league announced on Friday.

Hudson (6-foot, 220 pounds) was a three-year starter at the “Viper” outside linebacker position for Michigan. He started 37 games from 2016-19, finishing his Wolverines career with 237 tackles, 26 tackles for a loss, 12 sacks, two interceptions, 16 passes defended, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and five blocked kicks.

Stone (5-foot-10, 210 pounds) spent three years as a safety at Iowa before leaving a season early for the NFL Draft. He made 21 starts at strong safety from 2017-19. In total with the Hawkeyes, Stone finished with 126 tackles, four tackles for a loss, one sack, six interceptions, 13 passes defended, four forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

They’ll be joined at the 2020 NFL Combine at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium and Indiana Convention Center by former Pitt and Quaker Valley cornerback Dane Jackson. This year’s combine will run from Feb. 23 to March 2.

Chase Winovich (Michigan, Thomas Jefferson) and Miles Sanders (Penn State, Woodland Hills) represented the WPIAL at the 2019 NFL Combine. Sanders was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. Winovich was selected in the third round by the New England Patriots.
